Research Experiences

1. Comparison between High-Risk Binge-Eating Group and Control Group

Period: 2024–2025 · Organization: Pusan National University

Objective: To investigate differences in mental health and cognitive function between high-risk binge-eating individuals and a control group.
Methods:
- Conducted behavioral experiments using a Python-based cognitive task program.
- Administered psychological scales assessing mental health, eating behavior, and cognitive performance.
- IRB-approved study with 72 participants (N=36 per group).
- Statistical analyses included t-tests, ANOVA, regression analysis, Chi-square tests, and propensity score matching (PSM).
Role: Led experimental design, developed experimental tasks, prepared IRB documentation, collected and preprocessed data, performed statistical analysis.
Achievements: Demonstrated statistically significant lower mental health and cognitive function in the high-risk binge-eating group compared to the control group (p<.001).
